As we celebrate 75 years, we honor His faithfulness, reflect on His work through countless people, and look ahead with anticipation to the next chapter of reaching the world with the love of Jesus.\u201d Praise God for Cru\u2019s work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I became a believer on October 16, 1978 on my college campus and began being discipled by Campus Crusade for Christ staff. In 1982 I joined staff with Cru and have been affiliated with them ever since. First in campus ministry, then with the Family Life speaker team and since 2009 with the Significance Project. My passion continues to be helping people know Jesus and helping them grow in their relationship with Him. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2012, Bethel AME Church in Boston, MA was searching for discipleship resources for their Women\u2019s Ministry. A dear friend who had been involved with Cru in college and graduate school and continued to support ministry opportunities recommended checking what Cru had to offer for discipleship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The leaders decided to use The Significant Woman Course with Bethel women. I joined their leaders for a weekend training for 12 women who would facilitate groups that first year. They held 6 groups in homes and on the church\u2019s campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This past weekend I joined them to celebrate Pastor Gloria White-Hammon who was instrumental in bringing the Significant Project resources to Bethel. Pastor Gloria is preparing to retire in 2027. Bethel has also hosted Man Of Impact groups.The biggest takeaway was the incredible connections the ladies had with each other, the church and the mission they felt called to.
